THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER: "Control"

I was recently commissioned to create another shirt design for the band THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, which I had even more fun with than the last one I did for them! They wanted a shirt design for each song on their forthcoming new album, and I was hired to create one for the song "Control", in which they wanted a Jeffery Dahmer type setup with a serial killer performing a basement-lobotomy on one of his victims.

NATIVE NEW YORK: "NATIVE KONG"

Created this shirt design a while ago for NATIVE NEW YORK clothing company, and they have just put it up for preorder at their website. They wanted a King Kong type scene with a giant gorilla wreaking havoc on some biplanes from atop a skyscraper. The design was hand drawn, inked with brush, pen and india ink, and colored in Photoshop.

FRIGHT-RAGS: "THE LEPRECHAUN"

Yet another shirt design for one of my favorite clients: horror-shirt makers extraordinaire, FRIGHT-RAGS. This one's based on the "horror" movie LEPRECHAUN from 1993, which is not a very good movie by any stretch of the imagination. Still, it's one of those "so-bad-it's-kinda-fun" movies, and this design was very simple, straightforward and fun to work on.

MASTERS OF WESTEROS: CASTLE GREYJOY!

My Game of Thrones/Masters of the Universe mashup design "MASTERS OF WESTEROS: CASTLE GREYJOY" shirt design will be up for sale at THE YETEE for 24-hours only on March 8th! It's a 5-color design on black, and this one took quite a while for me to finish and fine tune, due to the limited color palette and trying to replicate the feel of the box art for the original Castle Greyskull playset as much as possible.

The long-in-the-works GORILLA VS. ARCHITEUTHIS shirt is finally up for preorder at my BeastWreck shop! It's a 5-color design, soft-ink printed on black Gildan 64000 SoftStyle shirts in both mens and womens styles by those wonderful folks over at Threadbird. Preorder period will last until March 18th, then the order will be placed with the printer, and shirts should arrive and start shipping approximately 2 weeks after that. PREORDER "GORILLA VS. TALES FROM THE CRYPT!

Did this one a while back, and forgot to post about it. Was commissioned by Fright-Rags to create a promotional giveaway shirt for Fear.net as part of their acquisition of the rights to air old episodes of TALES FROM THE CRYPT at their site. They wanted an old horror-comic cover type design, so this is what I came up with. Not very dynamic, but that sort of thing doesn't really fit with the Cryptkeeper, as he's rather a sedentary fellow.

MACHINE GUN GORILLA

Fun little t-shirt design job I did for a client starting up their own t-shirt company. Not sure when this will see print.

CREEPSHOW: "THEY'RE CREEPING UP ON YOU!"

I can finally reveal one of my latest designs for horror shirt company extraordinaire, FRIGHT-RAGS! It's a design from one of my favorite fun horror movies, CREEPSHOW -- specifically, the "They're Creeping Up On You" segment that closes out the movie, wherein germophobe crank-meister extraordinaire Mr. Upson Pratt gets plagued by swarms of roaches and meets a grisly end . This one was particularly fun to work on, though drawing all those roaches got to be a bit grueling at times. AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE HERE!

SEA-MONKEY BATTLE!

I was recently commissioned by the folks at LESSCONF (the Less Is More Conference) to create a t-shirt/marketing design for them. Their only request was that it have some sort of oceanic/nautical theme, and for some reason my mind went immediately to Sea-Monkeys battling a crab. I guess I've always wanted to illustrate such a thing, so why not now? Brush and ink drawing colored in Photoshop.

THE BLOB tshirt design!

Another commission for one of my favorite clients, FRIGHT-RAGS. I was lucky enough to get to create a tshirt illustration for one of my favorite horror movie remakes, THE BLOB. Instead of trying to capture any of the celebrity likenesses or do some sort of montage of blobby scenes, I thought I'd stick to one powerful image of the Blob dissolving one of the poor slobs who was sent into the sewers after the shapeless beast.
